Client Requirement

The client needed one web dashboard to replace spreadsheet tracking across several distribution centers, with live stock sync and ERP links.

It also needed low-stock alerts, custom role-based access and fast reports on demand, expiry dates and buying delays, even in heavy traffic.

The Solution

We built a cloud-native SaaS web application with a centralized dashboard powered by real-time database synchronization for every warehouse.

Rule-based low-stock limits and machine-learning demand forecasting trigger purchase orders automatically, with no separate reporting tools.

Our Development Process

01

Study Stock Needs:

•We talked with warehouse teams about how they count stock, place orders and track suppliers, then turned those needs into a clear build plan for the new system.
02

Build Central Dashboard:

•We built a central web dashboard with simple admin screens and role-based access, so each person sees only what they need, in every warehouse and on any device.
03

Add Auto Reorders:

•We attached automatic reordering points using Economic Order Quantity math, so the method orders just the right amount and skips both overstock and costly stockouts.
04

Link ERP Tools:

•We connected the platform to existing ERP software through REST and GraphQL APIs, so stock, orders and supplier data be synchronized without new tools or double entry.
05

Test And Launch:

•We tested heavy admin traffic and real stock counts across warehouses, then launched the system on AWS cloud so each location can use it right from the browser.

Key Features

stock-management-key-feature
01

Fewer Errors:

Automated stock ledger updates replace manual spreadsheet entry, so real-time reconciliation keeps counts correct and inventory discrepancies were cut by 99% across all warehouses.

02

Faster Dashboards:

Server-side rendering and code splitting in Next.js load data-heavy report pages fast, so administrative dashboard load times dropped by 40% even when many warehouse admins use it.

03

Lower Costs:

Automated reorder points based on Economic Order Quantity prevent overstock and stockouts, so warehouse carrying costs fell by 35% every year while extra cash is no longer tied up.

04

Faster Orders:

Batch picking and automated sales order sync trigger fulfillment queues the moment an order arrives, so floor teams skip manual bottlenecks and order fulfillment speed rose by 50%

What is a smart inventory and stock management system?

It is a centralized SaaS platform that replaces spreadsheets with a live dashboard tracking stock across every warehouse. Real-time synchronization, automated reorder rules and role-based access give operations teams one connected view of inventory.

It replaces manual spreadsheets with automated cloud database tracking, real-time ledgers and dynamic reorder rules. In this system, that combination cut inventory discrepancies by 99% across warehouses while speeding up audit completion.

A strong option pairs Next.js and React.js on the frontend for fast server-side rendering with a Node.js backend and PostgreSQL database. This architecture handles concurrent queries from multiple warehouses while keeping dashboard load times low.

It studies historical sales data, seasonal patterns and supplier lead times to calculate safety stock and Economic Order Quantity levels automatically. Automating reorder triggers this way cut annual carrying costs by 35% in this deployment.

Yes, through RESTful and GraphQL APIs that sync stock levels, purchase orders and supplier data between systems. This platform connects to existing ERP tools without requiring teams to abandon their current accounting or procurement software.
